Flying with confidence

Safety, weather & flight procedure

A relaxed tandem flight starts before take-off. Here you can see how the day is prepared, why the weather determines the plan and what you can expect from meeting to landing.

01

Weather decides

Paragliding is weather-dependent. Wind strength, wind direction, precipitation, visibility and the general development of the day all play a role. If the conditions do not allow a safe flight, the flight is postponed or an alternative is discussed.

02

Clear preparation

Before take-off we go through the equipment, the take-off procedure and the few things you need to do as a passenger. You will know what happens next before we start running.

03

Personal decision

No two days in the mountains are the same. The final decision is always based on the actual conditions at the launch site. A beautiful flight is only a good flight when the conditions fit.

Step by step

How your tandem flight works.

From the first message to landing, the process stays simple and transparent.

1

Inquiry & appointment

You tell me your preferred flying area, date and flight type. We coordinate the details and keep an eye on the forecast.

2

Meeting point

We meet at the agreed location and head toward the launch site depending on the area.

3

Briefing

I explain the equipment, take-off and landing in a calm and understandable way.

4

Take-off & flight

After a few determined steps we are airborne. Then it is time to enjoy the view and the feeling of flying.

5

Landing

Before landing I explain what to do. After touchdown we pack up and your flight becomes a memory to take home.

Good to know

Safety also means saying “not today”.

Mountain weather can change. If conditions are not suitable, postponing the flight is part of responsible tandem flying. The goal is not simply to take off, but to give you a relaxed and enjoyable experience under suitable conditions.
