2. Hosting and Technical Access Data
The website is hosted by World4You. Technical data such as IP address, access time, requested URL and browser details may be processed to provide the website, diagnose errors and maintain security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Retention depends on technical necessity and the hosting provider's applicable arrangements.
3. Enquiries and Contact
When you contact us by form, email or telephone, we process the information you provide, such as contact details, preferred flight, flying area, date, number of guests and message. Data are used to respond and prepare a potential contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, or for other communications under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data are retained only as necessary for these purposes and statutory requirements.
4. Voucher Orders, Payments and Invoices
Voucher orders involve processing purchaser contact details, selected flight, recipient name, dedication, order and payment status and voucher code. Processing is necessary for the contract, delivery and redemption under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Accounting and invoice data are also processed to comply with legal obligations under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR and retained for statutory periods. Public voucher status checks should not disclose personal messages or contact information.
5. Cookies and Analytics
Essential storage technologies may be used for necessary website functions. Under the website's consent controls, Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after consent. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. The provider is Google Ireland Limited; transfers to countries outside the EEA may occur. See Google's privacy policy.
6. Photos, Videos and External Content
The website displays flight photos and videos. If external services are embedded, technical connection data may be transferred to their providers. Such integrations should be reviewed when the website changes.
7. Recipients and Processors
Hosting, email and IT service providers may process personal data where necessary. Data may also be disclosed where required for contract performance or by law.
8. Your Rights

“Fly with Maxi” game and discount codes
The voluntary paragliding game processes technically necessary session data, the game result and a pseudonymous device/access fingerprint to plausibility-check scores, limit repeated abuse and issue one-time discount codes. The fingerprint does not store the IP address in plain text. Game discount codes are not tied to an email address and may be shared, but each code can only be redeemed once in total. Technical game sessions without an assigned discount code are regularly deleted.
Newsletter “Maxi's Flight Post”
If you voluntarily subscribe to Maxi's Flight Post, we use your email address and, where provided, your name to send occasional information about tandem flights, seasonal topics, vouchers, promotions, discounts and competitions.
Subscription uses a double opt-in process. After signing up, you receive a confirmation email. The newsletter becomes active only after the confirmation link is clicked. We store the subscription status, relevant timestamps, source of consent and the consent wording used at the time so that consent remains traceable.
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Each marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. After unsubscribing, your address is blocked from further newsletters; where necessary, a minimal suppression record is retained to prevent accidental re-subscription.
For now, messages are sent through Tandemtaxi Maxi's configured email infrastructure. If a specialised newsletter delivery provider is used in future, this privacy policy will be updated before that provider is put into use.
For technical and statistical evaluation of Maxi's Flight Post, we may record whether a message was technically opened and whether a link contained in it was clicked. Open metrics are only approximate because of features used by modern email clients. Clicks and the redemption of personal discount codes can be assigned to a specific newsletter campaign. We use these data to evaluate and improve our own newsletter content.
